WWE SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT AIRED: June 2, 2002

Hey graphic gurus - I need help. I'm completely unable to make a banner to save my life and I need banners. Have experience? Willing to help out? The best I can offer you is eternal gratitude. My e-mail address is in the report, so please, e-mail me if you can do anything for me.

Opening credits.

RVD is the new IC champion, Chris Benoit is back, and The Coach is gonna tell us all about it, all by himself since Raven quit last week. Wait - Jacqueline can't bear to watch Coach do it all by himself and is willing to help him out. This…could work.

MATT HARDY vs. JUSTIN CREDIBLE

Coach claims to still be hungover from the Tough Enough 2 finals. Quick - if they fired Scott Hall, now's your chance to continue the spring cleaning.

Justin goes behind in the waistlock, but can't get a good handle on Hardy and shoves him away by the back of the head. Justin makes faces. TONIGHT: X-Pac takes on D'Lo Brown - and The Big Show just might be lurking about. Stay tuned.

RAVEN vs. PLANET STASIAK

Didn't Raven quit last week? Isn't that the point of Coach having no real co-host when the show started? Jackie calls commentating a good opportunity - and Raven blew it. Raven's got the word FATE in masking tape across his right peck, and a giant X over his face.

Sunday Night Heat is brought to you by Burger King, 1-800-CALL-ATT, and Hungry Man.

Lockup - Raven tries a hammerlock but can't go behind and Stasiak shoves him back down to the corner. Stasiak makes a strange face at Raven - and gets shoved for doing so. Stasiak comes back with a right hand and looks around the arena for whomever is speaking to him. Stasiak goes to lockup - and gets booted right in the midsection. Tough Enough 2's season finale was Thursday night, and The Coach was on hand with Stacy Keibler to announce the winners. And this season's winners are Linda and Jackie.

On Smackdown! this week, Triple H had just been cost a match against Test thanks to The Undertaker. And Taker wasn't finished - he grabbed a chair and beat the crap out of him. Even Fit Finlay couldn't stop him, which is too bad because I happen to like Fit Finlay.

STEVEN RICHARDS vs. CRASH (for the WWE Hardcore Title)

Lockup - Richards pounds at the back of Crash. Richards chokes him on the ropes and threatens to drop him good. Whip - Richards tries a dropkick but Crash hangs on to the top rope. Crash looks under the ring, and grabs some trashcan stuff. Richards from the floor actually hits a Stun Gun on Crash! Crash is thrown in - Richards drops an elbow and throws the weapons out of the ring. Richards…goes for a chinlock. Hahaha. I think we're slowly moving him into Mick Foley from 1995. Last Monday night, RVD got an Intercontinental Title shot against Eddie Guerrero in a Ladder Match. Both guys went hard for 20 minutes, and RVD scored the win cleanly. After the match, Austin came down to beat on Eddie Guerrero in retaliation for the beer bottle attack - and Benoit helped Austin, only to turn on him seconds later.

X-PAC (with The Big Show) vs. D'LO BROWN

If I remember right, these guys had a swanky little series in the fall of 1998 for the European Title. Jackie says if you win the King Of The Ring, you become a huge superstar. Ain't nobody bigger than King Mabel! X-Pac poses before the match and Coach drools over his physique. Crowd: "X-Pac sucks!" Lockup - there's a hiptoss from X-Pac. X-Pac wants more. Another lockup - and X-Pac gets the side headlock. Spin - into the hammerlock, X-Pac drops down - and takes D'Lo down from behind. X-Pac spins around on D'Lo and paintbrushes him. Pose on the second turnbuckle. Lockup - side headlock is applied - D'Lo shoves him off and a shoulderblock drops X-Pac. Off the ropes - the hiptoss is blocked by D'Lo - and X-Pac is clotheslined. Hiptoss flows through into an armbar. X-Pac fights away - comes off the ropes and meets D'Lo's shoulderblock. Shaky shaky legdrop, cover, 1, 2, X-Pac kicks out. D'Lo comes at X-Pac with the shots to the head - a whip is reversed - and Big Show pulls down the top rope sending D'Lo to the floor. Show hits a chop and sends D'Lo back in. X-Pac chops at him in the corner - but D'Lo turns it around and chops X-Pac. Whip is reversed by X-Pac - X-Pac charges and meets D'Lo's foot. D'Lo out of the corner, and right into a sidekick. Cover, 1, 2, D'Lo kicks out. Whip to the corner - X-Pac charges and leaps…hitting the top turnbuckle leg first. D'Lo's up and hammers X-Pac. Whip - D'Lo meets X-Pac with a dropkick. D'Lo: "Get your ass up!" Whip - X-Pac off the ropes and D'Lo catches him…spinning - and a spinebuster! 1, 2, X-Pac gets the shoulder up. Whip from D'Lo - X-Pac ducks a clothesline - on the other side he leaps with the crossbody - but gets caught by D'Lo. He spins - and the nameless move is now called Sudden Impact. The Big Show is up on the apron so D'Lo goes over to dropkick him off. D'Lo heads to the top rope - jumps…and gets caught by Big Show. Show drives him spine first into the ringpost - then gorilla press slams him from the floor into the ring! X-Pac covers, 1, 2, D'Lo kicks out! In the corner - X-Pac chokes D'Lo with the boot, dances, here comes the Bronco Buster. D'Lo puts his foot up - right in the family jewels! Jackie: "Right in the money spot!" Coach: "The money spot? Does X-Pac have a side job?" I like that. D'Lo crawls to the top and leaps…right into the X-Factor. 1, 2, 3.

The Big Show gets into the ring - and here's a Chokeslam for good measure. But wait, Bradshaw's feeling heroic tonight and takes the nWo duo out.

Jackie can't wait to be home in Dallas tomorrow night. How will Steve Austin react to Chris Benoit? We'll find out when RAW hits the air - see you then.
